Custom Web Application
The Challenge
The Canadian Motor Vehicle Arbitration Plan (CAMVAP) realized one day that their Access database, which was used to record and track consumer automobile warranty paper claims, could no longer support their current business logic and needs.
CAMVAP started to search for a web application solution that could:
- Help consumers to submit automobile warranty claims
- Enable manufacturers, provincial administrators, and arbitrators to make efficient claim decisions
- Record and track a consumer’s claim progression
Our Solution
We created a user-friendly application that allowed consumers to quickly create a personal account and initiate their claim online. Consumers could then view and update claim communication and status information as required.
While manufacturers and arbitrators gained the ability to view and record claim decisions, provincial administrators gained considerable flexibility when scheduling, canceling, or rescheduling hearings, and also through printing, updating, and modifying claim information. Automated and manual user communication was also built into the application.
